Property fraud warning signs

A warning sign is not proof of fraud, but it should trigger clarification, evidence review or professional escalation before the next transaction step.

  • Name, signature, property description or area mismatch across documents.
  • Pressure to pay quickly without a clear document path.
  • Seller avoids originals, certified records or basic ownership questions.
