Service Rules & Policies
The rules that apply to enquiry, case opening, professional coordination, payments, direct dealings, refunds and data handling.
Important: These are operational platform terms and should be read with the accepted Service Order. They operate only to the extent permitted by applicable law.
1. Service scope and Service Order
- Website content is general service information and does not guarantee a particular legal or commercial outcome.
- Paid work should be governed by a written Service Order describing scope, deliverables, assumptions, timeline and applicable third-party/statutory costs.
- SureLig does not act as an ordinary property broker or dealer merely because it coordinates verification or professional work.
2. Client responsibility and direct dealing
- Clients should use official SureLig payment and communication channels for company services.
- If a client independently negotiates, pays, signs, settles or contracts directly with a legal professional or other third party outside the authorised SureLig workflow, that independent arrangement is outside SureLig control and remains the client’s responsibility to the extent permitted by the Service Order and applicable law.
- A client must not represent an independent direct transaction as a SureLig-authorised transaction unless SureLig has formally confirmed it in writing.
3. Official payment rules
- Use only bank/payment instructions communicated through an official SureLig channel shown on the applicable invoice or Service Order.
- Do not rely on a changed bank account, UPI ID or beneficiary instruction sent only through an unverified personal message. Confirm material payment changes before transfer.
- Keep the transaction reference, invoice and receipt. Property consideration paid to sellers/third parties is not the same as a SureLig service fee.
4. Refund and cancellation rules
- Refund eligibility depends on the accepted Service Order, work status and applicable law.
- Work already performed, reserved capacity, third-party charges, government/statutory fees, certified-copy costs, travel or specialist/professional costs may be non-refundable to the extent permitted by law.
- A request to cancel should be made through the official support/grievance route with the case number and payment reference.
- No clause on this page is intended to remove a mandatory statutory consumer or other legal right that cannot lawfully be excluded.
5. Legal professional independence
- Legal professionals and specialists remain independently responsible for their professional opinions and work within their qualifications and applicable rules.
- SureLig controls access, case assignment, scope and platform operations; it does not convert a professional opinion into a company guarantee.
- Conflicts, panel status and access can be reviewed, suspended or revoked by SureLig.
6. Client and professional data protection
- Sensitive contact information is designed to be encrypted at rest and masked from professionals unless disclosure is authorised and operationally necessary.
- Professionals should see only case-scoped information required for the assigned task.
- Company-admin views may contain sensitive business records and should be access-controlled, logged and reviewed.
7. AI assistant and enquiry logging
- The AI assistant is an informational intake tool, not a substitute for legal advice or official verification.
- Before chat, SureLig can capture name, mobile, state, district and matter type so the company can follow up and understand the enquiry.
- Customer questions asked in the AI chat may be logged against the enquiry for service follow-up, security and quality review.
- Do not enter Aadhaar, PAN, OTPs, passwords, card security codes or bank credentials into the AI chat.
8. Website and security rules
- Do not attempt to bypass authentication, enumerate client records, scrape private portal data, upload malware or probe security controls without written authorisation.
- Use strong unique passwords, do not share credentials and report suspicious access through the official grievance/security route.
- Security controls are designed to reduce risk; no website can promise zero future security incidents.
9. Fraud, disputes and escalation
- SureLig can structure evidence and coordinate the relevant professional route, but it does not replace police, courts, government authorities or qualified legal professionals.
- Clients should preserve documents, payment proof, messages and timelines and avoid destroying or altering source evidence.
- For urgent legal or safety situations, use the appropriate emergency or statutory authority rather than relying solely on the website.
Official contact and grievance
Use the Start a Case or Grievance route and quote the case number/payment reference. Keep official payment receipts and written instructions.
