Operational rules for approved advocates and other qualified professionals working through a SureLig case workflow.
The professional provides only the professional work specifically assigned in the SureLig case or Service Order. Professional independence remains with the professional and SureLig does not guarantee any legal outcome.
Professional access is case-scoped. Client name, mobile, email and other direct contact details should remain masked unless SureLig expressly authorizes disclosure for a documented operational or legal reason.
The professional must not solicit, divert, privately contract with, or collect unrecorded payments from a SureLig client outside the authorized case workflow. Any request for separate work or payment must be disclosed to SureLig before proceeding.
A professional may request withdrawal for conflict, incapacity, professional reasons, non-payment of an agreed professional fee, client conduct, or another documented ground. SureLig may suspend access, reassign the case or close access when operationally necessary, subject to applicable professional duties and law.
Professional fees and third-party charges must be recorded in the case. No informal cash collection through the platform. A payment already committed to a third party may not be refundable merely because a client later cancels; refunds are handled according to the agreed policy and applicable law.
Professional participation does not authorize solicitation or advertising that conflicts with applicable Bar Council rules. The Ministry of Law and Justice has stated that Rule 36 continues to prohibit direct or indirect solicitation/advertising by advocates.
Deliverables, clarifications, withdrawal notices and final status should be uploaded to the case. The professional remains responsible for the accuracy and professional quality of work they independently provide.
